My chapter 1 project was about what colleges our statistics students planned to attend because we are mostly seniors. Our goal was to see what students planned on attending the same college as one another. We found out that there was few, if any, students attending the same college.
My chapter 2 project was about women's college volleyball team records. Our goal for this project was to determine which colleges had the best record at that point in time of their season. We found out that most of the season records were around the same as the wins and losses at that point in their season.

My chapter 3 project was about the number of pets that students at Fowler High School have owned in their lifetime. The goal of this project was to see if there was an average number of pets that each student has roughly owned. We found out that many students have owned numerous pets above average. We learned that our survey wasn't an accurate representation of the population of Fowler because students guessed on their total pets owned.
My chapter 4 project was about cars and family members. Our goal was to see if there was a correlation between the number of family members per family and the number of cars each family owned. We discovered that there was little to no positive correlation.
My chapter 5 project was about The Price is Right. Our goal for this project was to see the chances of spinning a low number of $0.50 or lower and deciding to spin again and landing on the $1.00. We found out that there was a 55% chance of that situation occurring.
My chapter 6 project was about the Philadelphia Eagles winning the Super Bowl. Our goal for this project was to see the probability of their kicker, Jake Elliot, would make at least three out of four field goal kicks and makes all four kicks. We found out that there is a 87.6% chance of making three out of four. There is also a 49.6% chance of making all four field goal kicks. I learned that you have a higher probability of success with less trials.
My chapter 7 project was about the number of times Fowler High School students pee in one day. Our goal for this project was to evaluate the number of times individuals pee in one day and determine if the values are normal. We found out that the probability of someone peeing four to seven times in one day, (Which were our answers to the survey question) is rare. To pee below four times and above seven times is a 0.0004% chance of happening. I learned that the water intake levels impact the amount of time you urinate, which should be expected.
My chapter 8 project was about the annual profits. Our goal for this project was to discover annual profits per employee for financial service companies. We found out that with 99% confidence the annual profits per employee for financial service companies will fall between $31,000 and $40,220 per year. I learned that with more trials your confidence interval is more accurate.
My chapter 9 project was about Facebook. Our goal for this project was to determine if the the students at Fowler High School use Facebook more or less than an average of 20 minutes. We found out that Fowler students use Facebook less than 20 minutes a day. I learned that with given information I can predict or reject a null or alternate hypothesis.
